Here's what the father of the bride said after Ballyscully played at his daughter's wedding in Wellington recently:

Thank you very much for the entertainment you gave us on Saturday. You were very efficient, provided exactly what was asked for with no hassles and you provided the quality of music that left the dancers shouting for more, quite literally. Thank you for the encores you met too!

But I thought that you provided more than just the music for the dance. Many guests who were elsewhere in Dransfield House and also in the garden and veranda were very appreciative of your music. You also attracted a young woman, Marion, onto the premises from the street outside. Apparently she was walking past when she heard your music and was so possessed with the urge to dance that she came in to join those on the dance-floor!

The bride and groom and both their families all thought you were fantastic, as I did too, for you provided the requests that I gave you some weeks ago, very well and very successfully. Most who spoke with me about 'the band' recognised you as professionals who knew what to play and how to deliver it.
